Where it’s coming from…

We live in a society that revolves around being 'liked', rather than liking yourself and focusing on that. I tell my children that those people who hang around long enough, are the ones who truly like you for who you are.

I tell them that whatever it is that makes them happy and fulfilled, they should do it without anyone else's opinion in mind. I do remind them to keep laughter a priority in their lives. It’s always a good thing to fall back on when dark clouds pop over your head.

Kevin Naudi is an actor, director and leading stand-up comedian. He has two daughters.
